“ You cannot go wrong by stopping here. I had difficulty ordering because the entire menu was fantastic. We stopped here after visiting valley of fire and we are SO glad we did. The drinks are fabulous with great authentic options and the food is very much traditional Mexican. My party ordered chimichangas, tamales, tostadas, margaritas, horchata, and the ropa vieja con queso. Delicious! This is a family run business and the service was also amazing. It satisfied exactly what we were craving and we will be back- 10 stars, highly recommended. ”
“ After a long day on the road, and at the recommendation of the desk clerk at our hotel, we had dinner at La Fonda Mexican Food restaurant. We were quickly seated and our orders taken. Our food was hot and plentiful. I ordered the Taco Salad. It was massive and I couldn't finish it. My wife ordered the Senior Taco dinnner. We both agreed that the food was average. It needed a bit more seasoning. Everything was OK and the place was convenient to where we were staying. ”

The tamale was good but chicken enchilada and rice and beans had no flavor. The hubby ordered the fajitas. They were really greasy and had no flavor. ”
